Im giving up, raising the white flag and surrendering.
I believe we all deserve someone. But I also beieve we don't deserve anyone.
I often ask god
why let us love those who don't love us in return?
And who hurts more? Those who are unable to love or those who are unable to be loved?
As if I haven't confused you enough, let me clarify.
We are all brainwashed to the power of the Disney corporation and those just like it. We fall victim to the idea that ''true love'' is within the human capacity.
we sat like sponges as the fairy godmother granted cinderella glass slippers, a silk gown, and an entourage of mice to men.
And oh yeah.... she won a prince.
And while we maidens in the real world wait for charming to charge in through the door with valor and pearls, we rot. Deprived of affecton and starved of approval.
When Charming does come he will do so conveniently, and thoughtlessly. When his fingers pierce into your bodice as he peels away your petticoat,
you think he may love you today.
But when he is through with you, he will put on his boots, tell you you're his girl, and ride his valiant steed far away from you.
And all the while you thought he'd save you from the abuse in your household, shield you from the cold, and love the person you are.
But that's the thing.
Charming only Charms you.
And even after this, you sit and wait in your own little corner, in your own little chair, for him to pass through town again.
Because next time you think you'll present yourself as lovable.
Because after all, it worked for Cinderella.
But here is something disney forgot to put at the ending credits,
Happy Endings are stories that haven't Finished Yet
